After watching the movie Loose Change 2nd edition I was angry, very angry. Not angry at my government as the filmmakers had intended but angry at the filmmakers themselves. I found so many lies in this film that i do not even bother to try and keep count. Oh yes, lies in a “9/11 Truth Movement” film. I could hardly believe it! They call themselves the 9/11 Truth Movement, however, I have yet to see any real evidence of what they claim let alone the “Truth” they so often and adamantly speak of.
After calming down a little bit I went to over the Loose Change official forums and registered so I could post a few questions. The forum moderators state they are an open and fair forum even for those who dissent against them. I posted my questions and challenges then returned the next day to see if there had been any response.
There was indeed a response. My post thread had been deleted and my posting privileges revoked! This was infuriating and satisfying at the same time.
Not really all that surprising, if you confront a conspiracy monger with disagreement they will do what ever they can to discredit you or simply shut you down if they can. In this case being their website, they simply shut me down. But not before their own users were able to see the post and it’s subsequent vanishing act…

The evidence clearly shows Flt 93 was shot down, or somehow exploded while still airborn. That is in direct contradiction to the official government story.
I understand your denial, I was there. I middle aged woman, I not an idiot. You have to do alot of reading,listening,researching. Unless you do that you will always insist you do know the truth. Just google anything 911. Look at the pictures of the Pentagon after a supposed crash, the picture clearly shows a 767 could not fit in that hole! Look at the pictures from teh field where one supposedly crashed again the pictures clearly show no plane, it was blown out of the sky. Why did a 47 story building fall on 9-11 in the afternoon for no reason except small contained fires? It fell into itself, demo style. How could 110 story buildings fall in under 10 seconds without any resistance, really you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know the buildings should have fallen and then toppled halfway, not so perfectly in a pile of dust and steel beams. I do not consider myself to be in denial, I am a person who is very interested in knowing what really is going on with the world I live in. I do not just accept what Tom Brokaw or Bill O’Reilly say happened. You see, I have this wonderful thing called critical thinking. When coupled with objective reasoning it allows me to get information from a variety of sources and sift through it to come to a logical and reasonable conclusion. When necessary I research events further.
It took me some time to deal with the events of 9/11 as it was definitely a shock to me and most anyone else.
When doing my research I do not always have expertise in all the subjects and therefore have to rely on other peoples information. It is important to know that the information you are relying upon is accurate and honest.
I have gone through the investigations of 9/11 so many times it is rather redundant to do so any more. I have watched all of the films that say it happened this way or that way - and I have researched the information they show as evidence. So far I have not seen anything at all that proves anything is any different. Some people do raise reasonable questions, however, I have seen the answers to them over and over again.
When people watch films like Loose Change or Fahrenheit 9/11 they are led to believe the information is accurate when in fact much of it is not. Both films have been clearly and repeatedly debunked by a variety of people. But then you have another movie made or another website made and most all of the information is recirculated stuff from the others. It’s kind of a vicious circle of false information. But once that information is latched onto by the conspiracy people it is held as irrefutable truth even when it has been been proven false or misleading time and again.

To me the theory of a shoot down and cover up conspiracy makes little to no sense at all. The incentive to lie is nonexistent and the potential of being found out are very high and the consequences are huge. From a political and operation standpoint this just would not make a lot of sense.
Let’s look at a couple of points…
Claim: One of flight 93’s engines was found a great distance from the crash site.
The facts:
Experts on the scene tell Popular Mechanics that a fan from one of the engines was recovered in a catchment basin, downhill from the crash site. According to Jeff Reinbold, the National Park Service representative responsible for the Flight 93 Memorial, confirms the direction and distance from the crash site to the basin: just over 300 yards south,. This shows that the engine fan landed in the direction the jet was traveling and is consistent with a crash at high a velocity, about 500MHP in this case.
“It’s not unusual for an engine to move or tumble across the ground,” says Michael K. Hynes, an airline accident expert who investigated the crash of TWA Flight 800 out of New York City in 1996. “When you have very high velocities, 500 mph or more,” Hynes says, “you are talking about 700 to 800 ft. per second. For something to hit the ground with that kind of energy, it would only take a few seconds to bounce up and travel 300 yards.”

The order to shoot the aircraft down…
The order to engage the aircraft was given by Vice President Dick Cheney and authorized by President George W. Bush. That information is in 9/11 Commission Report. According to the report the order would have been given between 10:10 and 10:15, after the aircraft was down. It would have been difficult for the plane to have been shot down with the order not having been given yet. It also would not make much sense for the denial considering the order is a matter of record and such order is perfectly understandable given the circumstances of 9/11.

The cockpit voice recording has many indicators of the passengers attempting to take control of the aircraft and a fight in the cockpit. I have a copy of the transcript and I am sure it is available from several sources as well. There is no indication at all that the plane had been hit by a missile in the transcript.

I just don’t get it. It can take years of careful investigation by teams of engineers, crash site investigators, forensics experts, and the like, to even tentatively answer the question “What Happened?” Yet a single conspiracy theorist, with no technical expertise in any particular field, no access to the scene of the disaster, no laboratory, no equipment, no access to confidential information, and no advice or critique from experts, thinks he or she can come up with a credible explanation for 9/11 by cobbling together footage from TV news programs. And not only that, he or she can mind read the motives of the hundreds or even thousands of people who would be implicated in a sinister plot. Nothing, absolutely nothing, that conspiracy nuts claim about 9/11 stands up to impartial and expert investigation. If any one of the conspiracy crackpots would take a little time to read a book on critical thinking maybe they could contribute something to the discussion…but, then, I guess I’m just one of those deluded sheeple taken in by the global conspiracy.
