More hysteria over the world melting and flooding at an ever increasing pace. If even a quarter of what they say is true I think we would have drown already. For at least 30 years they have been screaming about rising sea levels and drastically increasing temperatures. It’s turned out to be about .7 degrees over the last century. Whatever, I’m going to go drive aimlessly around town in my Hummer dragging a boat. That ought to make Al Gore angry
Now that Al Gore has been awarded the Nobel Peace prize for his efforts in deceiving the masses - I have decided that gathering large quantities of fuel oil and burning it at all hours strictly to generate CO2 for the atmosphere is a good idea, I think I will get right on that - perhaps I can catch up with the emissions from Gore’s private jet.
And No, Ron Paul or Hillary Clinton can’t fix it either.
[..YouTube..] “GW refers to GW Bush, not global warming”Inconsequential, I hold little faith in either one. Or the NYT for that matter, I’ve read many a “fact” in the paper of record only to later find it to be politically motivated semi-truth or outright lies.
[..YouTube..] re “that means caused by HUMANS”If I’m unfamiliar with a term one uses here I’m sure that I am capable of looking it up, if someone else is not then they are not worthy of debate. You may be attempting to belittle with your comments but it’s just a waste of space. Somewhat like trying to tell me to read Science Magazine instead of Science Magazine.
[..YouTube..] As for a clear point:Stating that 99%+ of the species have become extent does not have a bearing on much of anything, that too is a cycle withing nature. Considering the millions of years the earth has been here it’s not a far stretch to assume that many species have died off and few have survived. Are you attributing the extinctions throughout history to the fictional global climate crisis?
[..YouTube..] Very interesting…have you read Chrichton’s book “State of Fear”? A similar perspective: geological history and climate history have been around much longer than human history etc… We may be doing something negative, and ought to be responsible, but more than anything we ought to be circumspect and really examine a complex situation before taking the “climate change”-as-a-byline, superficiallly educated approach the media seems to take.
[..YouTube..] “State of Fear”Have not read that yet, I’ll check it out though.I think you have it right here, I have no problem with responsibility and even sustainability. I do have a problem with hysteria induced legislation. Or with people calling me stupid for questioning it.
[..YouTube..] watch?v=YEJ5pHVKjiI
[..YouTube..] I saw a band of very nice guys from Greendland, they had a good song called Grenland is Melting, they also did cool songs by the Ramones etc.
[..YouTube..] That would be interesting to hear, do you know of a website or the band name? Google came up with nothing on the song title, other than news stories about Greenland melting and of course this video.
[..YouTube..] I’m not about to go back and read all the posting, so sorry if this was already covered. But, the fact that it’s happened before doesn’t mean we’re equiped to deal with it. and doesn’t mean it’s nothing to worry about.
[..YouTube..] The fact it has happened and will again is important because we can’t do anything about it except adapt, if it’s even a problem, in most cases it’s a good thing to warm. Cooling would definitely be a terrible thing - a 3 degree drop would be devastating to agriculture around the globe. 3 freaking degrees.
[..YouTube..] Warming up is certainly a problem in Australia, eight years of extreme drought might have had something to do with the new Prime Minister signing up to Kyoto in his first week in office.
[..YouTube..] re warming, drought, Kyoto. That’s ridiculous, true GW should result in higher global precipitation.Good luck with your now crippled economy - if of course they keep with the Kyoto joke.
[..YouTube..] Not so ridiculous at all, global warming is causing increased precipitation in some areas and more drought in others (Kenya). In Australia Brisbane in Queensland is enduring a terrible drought while parts of Victoria had floods (as did we in the UK).You’ve got enough to worry about with your own economy, hopefully with the low dollar you might get a few more tourists
[..YouTube..] “global warming is causing”No. It’s not. General cyclical climate is causing droughts, floods, hurricanes, summers, winters, thunderstorms, cold, heat, dust storms, tornadoes and everything else remotely related to weather.GW is causing nothing but unfounded hysteria.
[..YouTube..] “You’ve got enough to worry about”I’m not worried, I earn plenty on currency exchange. It’s not so much a weak dollar as it’s other currencies growing stronger. As with all things the markets will level in time. The only problem would be fear.
[..YouTube..] Now come on malagent, if I am in error in stating definitively that CO2 emissions are causing climate change there is absolutely no way that you state categorically that general cyclical climate is the cause.
[..YouTube..] “GW is causing nothing but unfounded hysteria”Sir David Attenborough may not be well known in America but in the UK he is revered for teaching us about wildlife. He is featured in a short video “Sir David Attenborough: The truth about climate change.” I think it presents the case well.
[..YouTube..] co2 driving climate change is one of two things:A mythorA Scam, a really big scam. The 2,500 scientist “consensus” is shattered by the at least 17,000 who signed a petition stating the theories are wrong.Cyclical climate driven by the sun is the best scientific explanation for the minor changes so far.
[..YouTube..] “Sir David”In the interest of completeness I shall check it out if I come across it, however, I’m sure I’ll still have the same position as I do now - there is simply to much evidence proving that this GW thing is the same as all the other alarmist environmental scares - crap.
[..YouTube..] I hope you do have a look, I’m interested in this petition of 17 000, I’ll look for that.
[..YouTube..] I’m firm in my conclusions yet I maintain an open mind - I do hope others do the same.I’ll post a link to the “petition project, regardless of the end result it does show two things1 - Many, 19,000 now, scientists disagree with man made GW driven by co2.2 - Barely any one cares or reports those who disagree with the alarmist views.
[..YouTube..] For anyone that’s interested in seeing it the link for the Petition Project, now at 19,000 signers is posted in the video description now.
[..YouTube..] scary
[..YouTube..] The IPCC estimates on sea level rise for 2090-2099 are based on information from 1980-1999.The IPCC model-based range excludes future rapid dynamical changes in ice flow.”The projections do not include uncertainties in climate-carbon cycle feedbacks nor the full effects of changes in ice sheet flow, therefore the upper values of the ranges are not to be considered upper bounds for sea level rise” (IPCC assessment-report, p.8).
[..YouTube..] Good video. Without global warming the nothern hemisphere would still be covered in ice sheets. Of course, if we were living under 200 feet of ice, our air conditioning bills would be much lower.
[..YouTube..] warning… moron alert…. Malagent
[..YouTube..] Mother Nature is quite dramatic, but no where near as mellodramatic as Al Gore!
[..YouTube..] Granted… they may overdramatize the issue but Global Warming IS an issue whether you believe it or not. Al Gore has NOTHING to gain anymore. He’s not running for office so he’s not trying to make a statement to garner support for his own personal gain. He’s talking about this because it is a real problem. As I said, he may exaggerate… but it’s a real problem that WE are causing.
[..YouTube..] In 50 or 100 years we will look back and laugh at this hysteria.. and that Al Gore got the Nobel prize from making a lame ass movie!
[..YouTube..] Al Gore has made hundreds of millions of dollars, travelling the world and spreading fear. But, hey, he should get paid. He’s the new Jesus Christ, right? He’s here to save the world. (please note sarcasm)
[..YouTube..] Sarcasm duly noted.
[..YouTube..] 1 Humans are not causing GW2 Gore has much to gain3 Gore is entering joint ventures with “green” venture capital firms which is very lucrative business when people are scared that they are going to melt because people drive SUV’s.
[..YouTube..] I would like to excuse myself from the list of hysterical humans in history. I’m attempting to document that with my videos - although I’m pertty sure I’ll be an insignificant part of history, so whats the point. Oh well.
[..YouTube..] “warning… moron alert…. Malagent”I’m quite sure you’re immature “alert” will protect many unsuspecting youtube users from exposure to a point of view that you may not agree with. Oh how horrible it would be if people thought for themselves and looked into things with an open mind.
[..YouTube..] PlasmaStar9,I wish I had some of that warming here in KS. I’m still covered in ice and snow and just got power back after 5 days of living in in the 5th century. But I suppose someone will blame that on co2 as well.
[..YouTube..] Again, emotion based response followed by an idiotic statement! Has no facts or even half truth facts to make his point.
[..YouTube..] Global Warming my ass, its global cooling! I live in Oklahoma, we had over 2ft of snow in October last year, and now we have an ice storm with a snow storm to follow that. In 1980 we had over 30 consecutive days over 100 degrees this year we had three. FYI it usually snows in January only about 3 to 6 inches. In Colorado they had their earliest substatial snow fall in years. I’m kidding about the gobal cooling thing but my god the climate chages, DUH you stupid global warming activist.
[..YouTube..] re “I live in Oklahoma…”I hear ya, I live in Kansas & just returned to the 21st century after 5 days without power. Been sleeping under a pile of blankets on 7 degree nights & cooking with a Zippo lighter. I’ve also seen some try to blame the winter storms on GW, absolutely amazing.
[..YouTube..] GW has become such a negative issue I now blame everything on GW. Flat on the way to work damn GW. My Sooners don’t make the Natl Champ game stupid GW. So the next bad thing that happens ireguardless of what it is I’m sure they will find a way to blame it on GW.
[..YouTube..] I’m sorry Mr Jones, I can’t come to work today… the earth has warmed too much.Hey, works for me. But my employees will at least need a note from Al Gore or RFK Jr for me to accept that excuse.
[..YouTube..] Following your logic on the droughts being evidence or GW…I’ve just spent a week sleeping in 7° nights with now electricity or heat while my home is covered in 2″ of ice and a foot of snow. It must be evidence of Global Cooling.
[..YouTube..] Our climate is normalThe additional co2 from human production is minimal compared to all otherThere are at least 19,000 against the 2,500 “consensus”Sustainability is much different than hysterical alarmism.
[..YouTube..] good. You must read “cool it”, by Bjoern Lomborg. It all about this environmental hysteria. You will love it.. And it is backed up by scientific data.. (real data and not Al Gore populistic data)
[..YouTube..] I have read a little from Lomborg, but not that one (yet)There is a dramatic increase in real data and scientists stepping up to fight this massive hysteria lately. I hope it will continue to increase before we are doomed to kill ourselves off to protect a walrus or something.
[..YouTube..] That petition idea is a joke. Since when did science depend on a democratic vote of laymen for validation? There is no ignoring the increased extemes in climate, and yes, dealing with it is going to become more vital than what’s causing it. Right now however, the evidence is clear that man’s contribution of CO2 is very much a factor.Yes GW is normal, we are just speeding it up.How long would you stay in a gymnasium with a single car idling in it? Instead, we are reving the engine.
[..YouTube..] A Joke? ~20,000 people with degrees & scientific backgrounds stating that they disagree with a consensus of ~2,500 is not a f’n joke. You’re immediate dismissal of it & intolerance simply shows that you have stopped acquiring knowledge.Did you even follow the link or read the data presented? Most likely now, as it conflicts with your preconceived alarmism.
[..YouTube..] Just how did GW warming produce an ice storm that left me stuck in the dark ages for a week - followed by a massive snow storm a few days later?During that week without power or heat it was 5-7° each night. Pretty damn cold for global warming if you ask me. I would welcome warming…
[..YouTube..] Temperatures peaked in 1998 and have shown no warming for a decade now. Many scientists have been remarking about this trend for several years but no one takes heed, preferring to believe models than actual data.CO2 has been rising during that same time, totally uncorrelated with temp.
[..YouTube..] I believe the U.S. joined the international consensus resolution for CO2 reduction last week in Bali.
[..YouTube..] re bali
Political in nature and largely irrelevant to today and now. It’s an agreement to work towards an agreement in two years.Just before the joke in Bali there was a new study released providing additional evidence that co2 is a moot issue not involved in climate change and that the minute change we have seen is cyclical not human caused. It’s only one of many, but the media cares not.
[..YouTube..] Do you actually do any research on this issue? or do you just scan for headlines that support your preconceived hysteria alarmist views?Just because the media reports it does not make it credible. Just because the media ignores it does not make it untrue or irrelevant. In fact in both cases it’s generally the opposite. Read the data given along with the Petition Project, look for more sources as well - you might be surprised.
[..YouTube..] dude, malagent! we all can`t read as fast as you. slow it down.
[..YouTube..] I’ll try to do that on future videos.
[..YouTube..] thank you. good job, by the way
[..YouTube..] I share a lot of your cynicism of the media, but not on this one.It does come down to the science.btw, how long would you stay in that gym with the car running?
[..YouTube..] You & others keep saying it comes down to the science yet you ignore the science.I was so hoping that ‘07 would be the year human climate change fear would die. Looks like even though more & more evidence crushes the alarmist fear engine that it persist for another year or so.
[..YouTube..] Dec. 20, 2007Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries recently voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called “consensus” on man-made global warming. These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore.
[..YouTube..] Science aside for a moment, have your own eyes not seen the ugly brown haze that hangs over practically every major city? Though nearly invisible up close, from a distance it stands out like a shroud. Respiratory distress has been definatively linked to it. We are literally poisoning ourselves.
[..YouTube..] It’s scary that ppl believe the AGW mongerers! The girl that says she lying awake at night because of global warming. …Well some ppl might say that because you have to say that because AGW is also already fascism, but many ppl also are scared I think, and that is scary because scaryness can legitimize fascist politics, e.g. socialism.
[..YouTube..] I’ve lived in big cities such as Pittsburgh, PA & yes I’ve seen the pollution. I’ve also seen that it dissipates as well. During & for a time peak traffic it’s noticeable, yet at night the steel city is very pleasant and clear. But, it’s an entirly different issue.I’ve never said no to more efficiency, less emissions etc. I am opposed to junk science dictating ridiculous things that will not help.
[..YouTube..] For instance the Kyoto joke would have such a negligible effect on co2 at a almost unfathomable cost. And that pollution you can see in cities, in most cases it is not co2. It’s composed of many chemicals & can be harmful but co2 is not pollution in that sense. The vast majority of co2 is naturally produced - volcanoes, oceanic life, etc.
[..YouTube..] I wonder why the greens are not in favor of-the zero emissions-Nuclear power? It makes perfect sense & I support it fully. Hell, that would even make electric cars practical further reducing all emissions. It would be far cheaper than Kyoto style failures and actually have a noticeable effect.
[..YouTube..] People would not be scared if they were to research issues. They could then make informed decisions on issues - particularly the ones that are legitimate. My niece has been forced to watch and is tested on “An Inconvenient Truth” in high school - I’ve provided her with many other sources of information, but she is not allowed to challenge or even discuss it in the class.
[..YouTube..] “…but she is not allowed to challenge or even discuss it in the class.”Yup. That’s scary fascism, isn’t it?! A one way road to regulations in the name of doomsday propaganda.
[..YouTube..] The fascism is maybe soft here, but a consensus in society which don’t accept critics sounds dangerous to me/most likely *are* dagerous.
[..YouTube..] With her not being my child I’m limited in what I can do about the curriculum, however, I’m getting involved - It’s bad enough that the school is overwhelmingly indoctrinating with politics but when they push bogus science as well it’s really bad.Sadly many parents either don’t realize or don’t mind that it’s happening.
[..YouTube..] Yes it is dangerous. There should almost always be debate. Even when an issue is decided there should be debate on the appropriate actions if any. If one is secure in their position they should welcome debate if for no other reason than to solidify their position.
[..YouTube..] I know that Global warming is blown out of proportion, but it would nice if I had some legitimate sources to cite some of my arguments. Do you know any?
[..YouTube..] I’ve listed many in the video description here & on other videoAlso I’m collecting more in my forums at forum.malagent[.]com Of course you are welcome to contribute, debate, discuss there also.
[..YouTube..] If your into success and money, follow my rules: Only take advise from those who’ve done it better than you.And in this context: Thats greenlands problem.
[..YouTube..] Great video, thanks, but what fools are those who have not read the ancient texts in The Kolbrin on The Destroyer or Frightener. NASA tells us 80% of all solar systems have MULTIPLE Suns. Our ancients say WE have an object that takes up 1/5 of the sky that orbits, like a Red Sun. No if, but WHEN.
[..YouTube..] fuckkk…. my country’s Bangladesh!!! I don’t want it under water =( =( =(
[..YouTube..] Worry not my Bangladeshi friend. I’m sure that you land will not become an aquatic park in our lifetime.
[..YouTube..] well i don’t want it to be home to dolphins and whales even after i’m dead =( =( =(
[..YouTube..] Please note my sarcasm when I ask - What, you don’t like dolphins and whales? Come on dolphins and whales are people too!
[..YouTube..] I’m not sure that I follow you…
[..YouTube..] hhmm…. i guess it’s not that bad…as long as there’re like,naked hot mermaids… hehe
[..YouTube..] It’s a reference to th Kolbrin Bible from about 3,500 yrs ago, it’s said to contain info on the disturbances in the solar system that caused catastrophic climate change during that period & how it parallels that of today. It of course covers other topics as well.I have but little knowledge of it, so I can’t elaborate further or opine as the it’s legitimacy.
[..YouTube..] Actually The Destroyer is also referenced in Jeremiah, a Biblical text, as well as the Kolbrin texts. Our ancients witness rising ocean levels (Noah’s flood) and a “2nd Sun” that raged red across the skies. Culdian Trust holds the most original and authentic version in New Zealand. Our Sun is reacting electrically (CME’s) as this 2nd object approaches/returns in orbit.
[..YouTube..] I should add that Scientist James McCanney and “Libertyman” John Moore (former U.S. Intelligence) speak on these topics frequently on their respective weekly talk radio shows.
[..YouTube..] Actually the BBC Newsjust posted an article to their site on two governmental panels Dec. 17, 2007 warning of Ocean Levels Rising from up to 32 to 64 inches potential in the future - the title of that article is “Rising ‘Seas To Beat Predictions’” - The World sea levels could rise twice as high this century as UN climate scientists have previously predicted, according to a study.
[..YouTube..] Is it unknown as to what this second object is?
[..YouTube..] The sea rise has actually slowed down the last 30 years, and it will slow down even more. The coming 30 years will become cold because of a sensational coming weak sunspotcycle; number 24.The sea rise was 1,5 meter a year 10000 yras ago. Last 500 years 15-20 centimeter a year. When the big 90000 year ice age soon return the level will drop!
[..YouTube..] “BBC News”. Yes. Future predicting models. It’s not IPCC who predict higer rise. (IPCC has made the prediction smaller!) It’s “researchers” who are alarmistic about the maximum prediction level. I think all predictions are rubbish. All climate models are too weak. The sea level rise predictions from IPCC is also alarmistic.Sea level facts from Holgate:worldclimatereport[DOT]com/index.php/2007/02/09/shocking-facts-about-sea-level-rise
[..YouTube..] Research on the cooling Antarctica’s ice sheet says on p. 8 the glacier absorbs 0.08 mm per year. Half the natural sea level rise. Here a conclusion on the unambiguous conclusion of one report and all research:co2science[dot]org/scripts/CO2ScienceB2C/articles/V9/N45/C2.jsp
[..YouTube..] Sorry about “page 8″, which had no meaning in my comment. The estimate of Antarctica sucking the water from the ocean is on page 8 on the report “Mass balance of the Antarctic ice sheet”. My link was to a one page web-page about the reportbowfell.geol.ucl[DOT]ac[DOT]uk/~lidunka/EPSS-papers/djw3.pdf
[..YouTube..] By the way, I have to say that I can easily find 100s of articles every month in the press exactly about what you suggest. That’s the phenomenon discussed here, or?
[..YouTube..] I will also show that the BBC information is most unlikely/wrong. First, no serious oceanograph (Wunsch, Kerr, Bryden etc) think so. The BBC page suggests that the sea level rise shall be the same as 124000 years ago, 1.6 metres per century. There’s many problems with that conclusion! 1) We had that sea level rise roughly 14000 to 8000 years ago. That can’t happen now. Too little ice. It was 2 degrees C warmer 4000-8000 years ago and slow sea level rise.
[..YouTube..] tigr7170. This second comment to show that the statement in BBC is wrong is a graph:farm3.static.flickr[DOT]com/2408/2136279490_95a81d895a_o.jpgThe warmest period in the graph was 4000-8000 years ago, with slower sea level rise. A 1.6 per century (no serious oceanograph believe in that!) is the black line after year zero. No GW can cause such shanges in sea level rise and the question is if we have a problematic GW at all! I don’t think so. The suncycles 24-25 will cool down earth soon, too.
[..YouTube..] tigr7170: A more easy explanation that the by BBC refered report is wrong: We have already had 1.6 metres sea level rise during about 5000 years and are not in that phase of high sea level rise these scientist refere to (124000 to 119000 years ago). We had it 8000 to 14000 years ago, so the mentioned sea level rise isn’t an argument and can’t be expected. Another simple graph.farm3.static.flickr[DOT]com/2292/2135550177_d65e65b8e2_o.gif
[..YouTube..] BAD SCIENCE: here we have a scientist in the ice still trying to collect data and the stupid report is already creating fear and panic like that idiot chicken the sky is falling.and this scientist is only studying the ice in Greenland. He didn’t study the NA Current or the Suns solar flares, or carbon emission temperature connection. your country is changing get over it you loon!
[..YouTube..] ReverendUncleJimmy has a good vid on this topic.
[..YouTube..] I’m gunna buy me a little ranch in Greenland
[..YouTube..] BULLSHIT JUNK SIENCE CRAP
[..YouTube..] Al Gore’s worst case scenario may turn out to be hopelessly optimistic. All the models for predicting ice melt due to global warming are proving to have underestimated the rate of melting. Already the Polar Bears are in grave danger as a species. We are entering uncharted territory, but the biggie is the East Antarctic Ice Sheet. If the Amery Ice Shelf holds then we may be OK. If Amery goes the way of Greenland, Larsen A and Larsen B then Florida is stuffed.

[..YouTube..] The climate has been changing for 5 billion years…. how arrogant are we to think it should stay the same now that we are here?
[..YouTube..] even the IPCC in its previous reports wasnt able to predict for the acceleration of Jacobshaven Isbrae or Larsen B. So what kind of an argument is it to compare what Al Gore says with the “universal truth” of the IPCC. And then these great scientists here criticise IPCC in some other report elsewhere. Gore is a politician; he has to manipulate the facts so that people finally get the actual message. This report here is about attracting attention and its “facts” have long been proven wrong
[..YouTube..] Q: what caused the end of the last ice age?A: global warming.Q: how did man cause it back then?A: we didn’t.
[..YouTube..] I have been thinking the same thing for years.I don’t think man back then started putting out his fires because the 2km thick ice began to melt so quickly.
[..YouTube..] You know, I used to think Man caused this change, now I believe as you do!

Instead, what’s coming will arrive like a sledge hammer, and the impact will be profound.

[..YouTube..] (Cont.) I have no problem with the IPCC reports under-predicting some of the most recently observed climate effects. The IPCC remains a conservative panel that reaches an opinion by consensus. If there is any problem with the computer models, its that we don’t know how to quantify some of the most troubling climate “feedback” mechanisms, which on the one hand could be under-represented in the models, or else give results that strain credibility because humans won’t be able to adapt.

[..YouTube..] All this means is that human beings wil die out (hopefuly if you care for tha planet like me), many other mamals will die out, jurasic type reptyles will evolve back to live in the new desterts, mammals will end up being pushed north.
[..YouTube..] coasteraddict110 - correction - there is no reason to assume humans will die out anytime soon - the science of cladistics suggests that all species will eventually die out, but that’s likely many millions of years hence. There is no evidence that the mild global re-warming we have seen will increase deserts (the Sahara has been shrinking, or extreme weather events. There is no evidence of even one extinction caused by higher temperatures. Far from mammals being “pushed north”, they want to go!
[..YouTube..] Jungle2007 - correction:The ultra extremist IPCC has constantly over-predicted compared to observed climate trends. THe IPCC does not reach decisions by consensus. Only 51 people signed it. Many of the others have publicly complained that their comments have been ignored. The problem with the computer models is RIRO (rubbish in rubbish out). Not one of them has ever been validated against observed evidence. Finally, haven’t you noticed, it hasn’t been warming since 1998.
[..YouTube..] Yes but soon the sities will get too crowded and warmer weather might make livestocks die, that would then mean people starving. What about when pangea was stifiling hot with deserts a lot of animals died out then. They want to go north for the right climate so you could say pushed north.

[..YouTube..] coasteraddict - we have already had the experiment for at least 100 years now - human beings are perfectly capable of adapting to crowded cities.Secondly, why should warmer weather kill livestock? It’s colder weather that tends to be deadly to livestock, so if anything the warmer weather should be beneficial. There is absolutely no evidence that it was warmer temperatures that ever caused any extinctions.Pushed North? Or you could say extending their range North. What’s wrong with that?
[From YouTube] minilemur (cont) Your comment about no warming since 1998 is a red herring, and I suspect that you know it. 1998 represented a global temperature spike due to an extreme El Nino event. The 5 year average temp, despite a 4 year La Nina event, continued a steady upward climb, and stands to surpass the 1998 mark w/in the year. Some meteorological organizations state that 2006 global temps passed the 1998 temperature mark by a small margin.

minilemur (cont) Your comment about no warming since 1998 is a red herring, and I suspect that you know it.
[From YouTube] Jangle2007 - no it isn’t a red herring - it’s living proof that the actual *observed* temperature trend has been way undershooting even the lowest of the IPCC computer models’ predictions. Also the power of the El Nino in 1998 shows how easily the noise of natural planetary variation can swamp any supposed anthropogenic signal. If you look at the satellite data there has even been a slight fall in temperature.According to the models temperatures should be going up much faster. They’re not.

[From YouTube] Jangle what I’m pointing out is that very few od the IPCC expert reviewers have actually signed up to the final scientific report and even fewer to the Summary for Policy makers which was published months earlier than the scientific report, and which is far more alarmist than the scientific evidence itself would warrant. There is an excellent independent summary published by the Fraser Institute.
