You should see some of the comments on this post. Sometime sI have to wonder where these people come from.

If the people supporting Obama are doing so because they understand his positions and actually agree with him (not usually the case) then that’s fine.

What really irks me is the vast number of people who simply by into the hype and don’t even realize what they are potentially getting themselves (and the rest of us) into.

I had a very interesting conversation with an Obama supporter recently. When I went through individual issues and asked for their thoughts he almost always liked the conservative positions and not the liberal/progressive ones. As soon I started pointing that out I suddenly became a Neocon liar smearing Obama.

Those who automatically label us as ‘racist’ just because we won’t vote for Obamama are truly the racists. If those emotional retards had even half a brain, they would tell us why they support Socialism and Communism, and why that ‘change’ is good for America. But debate is a lost art.

What have I stated or done that is racist? Provide one example of racism form me. I’m getting a bit tired of people complaining that I am racist simply because I oppose Obama being elected. Obama is black and I am white - who really cares? I don’t. there are enough reasons for me not to like Obama, starting with his Marxist socialism, his lack of experience, insane and constantly changing foreign policy statements, his tax more spend more mentality, refusal to support domestic drilling, and many more. I also think he is racist judging by his own words in his books. There is also

So let’s just say that there is plenty to question without ev3er even knowing if he is black or not. Which according to his own words in”Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance” he is not, but rather he is half black with a white mother and a black father. So we could just as easily call him white.

I guess that depends on what the definition of “black” is. According to Black People And Their Place In World History we have already had several presidents with African ancestors:

Jefferson, who served two terms between 1801 and 1809 was described as the “son of a half-breed Indian squaw and a Virginia mulatto father,”

Andrew Jackson, the nation’s seventh president, was in office between 1829 and 1837. Vaughn cites an article written in The Virginia Magazine of History that states Jackson was the son of an Irish woman who married a Black man.

The book also discusses Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding, and Calvin Coolidge all having black ancestry - some on their mother’s and father’s sides.

So what’s new? Is it just that Obama says he is black or that he looks more black than others? What is the standard? Someone please enlighten me on this issue.

When have I ever stated anything about Obama being a Muslim? To my recallection I have not. And again, there are plenty of other issues for me to oppose Obama on. You also state “unless you get away with keeping the black vote out again” - what exactly are you referring to? I hope you are not stuck on the delusions concerning the 2000 and 2004 elections. There is plenty of evidence to show that they were legit. Bush won - twice. Get over it.

Might I suggest that you drop the victim routine and try to educate yourself on facts. If you support Obama with the knowledge and understanding of his positions on key issues and you agree with such, then vote for him. If you really want to vote for Obama because he is black or half black then that does not say much about you or Obama.

I don’t believe in pride of color. I believe in pride of accomplishment. Obamas very short list doesn’t include much I’m particularly impressed by - oh, not to mention he’s the most divisive candidate for the presidency in my memory. Just look at what he inspires in you. Obama wont let blacks be shot 50 times for nothing or sent off to die in a fake war for oil.
