Robert Spencer tackles “Islamophobia” in the UK’s “Islam is Peace” ad campaign.
I have decided to start cross posting these videos here in the hopes that at least a few more people will see them who otherwise might not.
Aggressive common sense, politics and whatever else - as I see it.

The video gets pulled but here it i. I will continue to maintain a copy of the video here for as long as someone is looking for it, the YouTube embed will soon be replaced with my own so I don’t have to worry about them pulling it from my account like they have done with so many others.
James Walton - A senior, veteran & business owner. Also a victim of crime and a person who has faced a life and death situation twice in three weeks and survived. Only to be attacked by a great example of what’s wrong with journalists and media these days.
Feel free to link to this page, I will maintain a copy of the video here even if YT pulls it.
(Update 10/20) Yep, they did pull it. No surprise there I guess.
But wait! It’s not new or improved, but it is back…

??????????????????????????????????????????????
????????????????blogs ?????????????????????????????????????????????????, ????, ???????? ?????????, ??????????????????
Apparently the benevolent government of the People’s Republic of China have the best interests of their citizens in mind when banning such things as websites and blogs. We really would not want to corrupt the minds of the Chinese with something as dangerous as though, free will, critical thinking or opinion.
Or maybe it is the capitalism that we must protect them from. Money is evil and it will corrupt their minds as well.
Whatever the case, I can’t consider the Chinese to be part of my Audience because the Great FireWall of China has stopped my blog’s electrons cold in their path to the workers Communist Paradise.

In preparation for dental implants I had two teeth pulled this morning. My only complaint is that for some reason the dentist does not see fit to provide a pain medication prescription after two rather difficult extractions.
She actually suggested using Ibuprofen. Oh well, it wont last long and if it gets too bad I’ll simply call and demand a prescription. As I’m writing this the local anesthetic is nearing the end of it’s usefulness and I’m realizing that the pain is not as bad as expected but still exceeds the efficacy of a few Advil.
Without having (or wanting) health insurance coverage I simply pay cash for the services as they are rendered. However, having had health insurance in the past I’ve noticed one major difference without it. In my experience doctors tend to literally hand out prescriptions when a patient is insured and are much more reluctant to do so for patients who pay out of pocket. This especially applies to pain medications. If you have experience with this let me in the comments, perhaps I’m in the minority on this one. Someone in the health care business might be able to enlighten me on this subject.
My other thought on this subject comes from seeing an article on CNN.com a few minutes ago with the headline “Brits resort to pulling own teeth.” Having posted about the health care & socialized medicine debate recently I finds it interesting that as an uninsured U.S. citizen I’m complaining about a little pain while 6% of Brits are pulling their own teeth according to CNN’s article. While it’s not the only case of people suffering or dying under the socialist medical services it certainly does sound like a painful example. Reminds me of Tom Hanks smashing his tooth out with a rock in the movie Castaway.
The article states the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health, commissioned the survey which finds “that the NHS dental system is letting many patients down very badly.”
What? Does Michael Moore know about this? Someone should let him know so he can release a new version of Sicko.
One respondent in Lancashire, northern England, claimed to have extracted 14 of their own teeth with a pair of pliers. In Liverpool, one of those collecting data for the survey interviewed three people who had pulled out their own teeth in one morning.
“I took most of my teeth out in the shed with pliers. I have one to go,” another respondent wrote.
Others said they had fixed broken crowns using glue to avoid costly dental work.
Valerie Halsworth, 64, told British television’s GMTV she had removed seven of her own teeth using her husband’s pliers when her toothache became unbearable and she was unable to find an NHS dentist willing to treat her.
Halsworth admitted that the first extraction had been “excruciatingly painful.” But she added: “It got that painful that I just had to do something… When you have taken a tooth out… the pain has gone.”
Sharon Grant, chair of the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health, which commissioned the survey, said: “These findings indicate that the NHS dental system is letting many patients down very badly.
“Where NHS dental services are available, people are happy with the quality of treatment provided but many find the NHS fee system confusing and expensive, with some patients taking out loans to pay for treatment or more worryingly taking matters into their own hands.”
So in summery…
I call the dentist and setup an appointment, walk in and have the work done. With minimal wait and minimal expense - all without insurance. While in Briton the citizens with a socialized system said to be superior to that of the U.S., have to wait long enough for dental care that they start pulling their own teeth with pliers or fixing “broken crowns using glue to avoid costly dental work.” I seem to remember several scenes in Sicko talking about how the British system was free, so how is it costly?
If even one person has had to do this, their system has failed. Imagine cramming hand tools into your mouth and pulling a tooth out.

Never missing an opportunity to lash out at the Bush administration, the media will report just about anything even remotely critical of President Bush, his policies, or anything else that could possibly make him look bad. I first watched this story on NBC Nightly News on the 12th. Brian Williams and Jim Miklaszewski managed to squeeze two minutes complete with references to torture, pictures of prisoners in Abu Grhaib from the Washington Post, video of soldiers, and president Bush in meetings from about 14 seconds of remarks by Sanchez.
My first thought was simply that if the speech was so harsh, the news would have shown more of it. The headlines around the internet were typical, such as:
So what did Sanchez really say? A lot actually, most of which the media was less than willing to report. For example, the Washington Post creatively dissected the 3,412 word speech, carving out a mere 141 words, arranged in such a way that excedes even Michael Moore’s talent for quote wrangling. That’s a exiguous 4.13% starting 1,501 (44%) words into the speech. I wonder what else he might have had to say in those 3,271 words they left out? Continue reading ‘Sanchez - The Rest of The Speech’

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad asked permission to lay a wreath at the World Trade Center site when he comes to New York City next week, but the request was denied, a police official said Wednesday.
The Iranian president, who is arriving Sunday to address the United Nations’ General Assembly, had asked the police department, the U.S. Secret Service and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey earlier this month for permission to visit the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, police spokesman Paul Browne said.
The police and Secret Service provide security to visiting heads of state.
The request to enter the fenced-in site was rejected because of ongoing construction there, Browne said. “Requests for the Iranian president to visit the immediate area would also be opposed by the NYPD on security grounds,” Browne said.
Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said earlier Wednesday that the city was considering Ahmadinejad’s request, but Browne said about two hours later that Kelly had misspoke.
Kelly’s comments prompted outcry from politicians and families of Sept. 11 victims.
The Port Authority, which owns the trade center site and is the only agency that could grant Ahmadinejad permission to go inside, said it never received such a request, contradicting the police statement.
“We have not been asked to accommodate the president of Iran,” Port Authority spokesman Steve Coleman said Wednesday.
It wasn’t clear whether Ahmadinejad wanted to descend to the base of the trade center site, where the fallen twin towers stood, or lay a wreath on a public sidewalk outside the site. Telephone calls to the Iranian Mission to the United Nations were not immediately returned.
Kelly earlier said he did not know why Ahmadinejad expressed interest in the site. “I am not sure we have the rationale behind it,” he said.
White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe said Wednesday that an Ahmadinejad visit to ground zero “is a matter for the city of New York, but it seems more than odd that the president of a country that is a state sponsor of terror would visit ground zero.”
The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Zalmay Khalilzad, told reporters Wednesday that the United States would not support Iran’s attempt to use the site for a “photo op.”
“Iran can demonstrate its seriousness about concern with regard to terrorism by taking concrete actions,” such as dropping support for Lebanese militant group Hezbollah and suspending their uranium enrichment program, Khalilzad said.
Iran and the U.S. have not had diplomatic relations since Washington cut its ties with Tehran after Iranian students stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979. The Bush administration has accused Iran of arming Shiite Muslim militants in Iraq and seeking to develop nuclear weapons.
In a television appearance earlier this week, Ahmadinejad said his country wanted peace and friendship with the United States, despite mounting tensions between the two countries.

Michael Moore is many things, to some he is a champion of the poor fighting the oppression of the evil Right and the horrible corporate profit mongers. To others he is simply a skillful liar who pretends to fight for the little guy while making millions of dollars selling pseudo-documentaries and books to anyone gullible enough to pay for them. (If you think he is something else, that’s what the comments are for.)
I know what I believe Michael Moore is. I’ve seen most of his movies, Roger & Me
, Canadian Bacon
, Bowling for Columbine
, Fahrenheit 9/11
, and Sicko. Hell, I’ve even watched his poor excuses for television series: TV Nation and The Awful Truth
. If you really want to be pissed off, just watch Moore parading a man in a gun costume around a group of children talking about shooting each other and dying.
There are several books and documentaries that expose Moore for the hypocrite, liar, and fraud that he is. So far my favorite for no particular reason is Michael Moore Hates America by Michael Wilson. Others include: Celsius 41.11 (2004)
, Fahrenhype 9/11
, Michael & Me
, and Forgive Us Our Spins
. New in 2007 is Manufacturing Dissent (2007)
. and Shooting Michael Moore, both of which are made by liberals and expose more of Moore’s practices.
Hannity interviews a man who was a childhood friend of Michael Moore. This man has made a documentary called “Shooting Michael Moore” which shows everyone who the real Michael Moore is: A Hypocrite and a Liar.

Congressman John Conyers (D) Michigan (H.R. 676 UNHI) does a lot of talking, Republican bashing and war protesting. The one thing he does not seem to do is read the bills he votes on. I guess he spends too much time talking/trying to impeach President George Bush or Impeach Dick Cheney to actually read something before voting on it. It would seem that bills he writes or sponsors are a lot safer without others reading them. Although Conyers has a poor record of bills being enacted into law when he sponsors them. (Relative to his peers)
According to Conyers most bills are not read before being voted on or becoming law. “Do you know what that would entail if we were to read each bill?” Conyers said in an interview with Michael Moore for Fahrenheit 9/11.
I think I know a little of what it might entail: Work - as in doing you job as a Congressman.
My opinion of Conyers was that he was an “extreme liberal” (borderline socialist) to begin with, however, after watching SiCKO creator Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11 I was even less impressed.
