“Israel must be wiped off the map,” Iran president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said it himself. He has denied the Holocaust, and his actions are motivated by a dangerous apocalyptic view of Islam. Meanwhile, Islamic extremists are in hot pursuit of nuclearweapons as they stand as gatekeepers to the Persian Gulf oil flow. Closer to home, President Bush has stated that the greatest threat to America is nuclearterrorism.
So when do we stop with the appeasement and get this regime out of there? We don’t need to go to war with them necessarily but the leaders of Iran have got to go.
“You will invade the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will grant it (to you). Then (you will conquer) Persia and Allah will grant it (to you). Then, you will invade Ar-Rum and Allah will grant it (to you). Then, you will invade The Dajjal and Allah will grant him (to you).” Nafi’ said to Jabir, “O Jabir! We do not believe that the Dajjal will appear until Ar-Rum is conquered.” [Ibid., no. 2028]
The land of Ar-Rum is Europe and Rome is its heart. The Messenger of Allah gave us the good tidings that we will conquer Rome, the capital of Christendom today, after the Muslims conquered the first capital of Christendom, Constantinople.
Imam Ahmad narrated that Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin Al-Aas said, “While we were around the Messenger of Allah) writing (the Hadith) the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam was asked ‘Which of these two cities will be conquered first, Constantinople or Romiyah (Rome)?’ He said, ‘The city of Heraclius will first be conquered.’ He meant Constantinople.” [Al-Hakim, Al-Mustadrak, vol. 4, p. 508. The Islamic groups around the world should consider hiring a good public relation firm if they really expect people to believe the whole “Religion of Peace” thing.

Albert Snyder the father of a fallen Marine, has won $10.9 million in a lawsuit against the Westboro Baptist Church for protesting at his son Matthew’s funeral. Living in Kansas I am particularly ashamed of the Topeka based church run by Fred Phelps. Albert Snyder says he does not expect to receive the $10 million but he intends to collect everything they have…
“I do not expect to collect $10 million, but I do intend to collect everything they have,” [1]
WBC is trying to turn this into a freedom of religion and speech issue. If there is a good reason to have limits on the 1st Amendment these people and their actions are definitely it.
“Not only did you fail to stop our preaching, but our message has gone forth to the entire world,” the statement said.
“Thank God for the $10.9 million verdict!” Church officials said the verdict would have no effect on their picketing plans. They plan to protest at two funerals Friday: one for Army Sgt. Scott Turner in Norton, Kan., and one for Army Staff Sgt. Larry Rougle in Kearns, Utah.
Church officials say they take their pickets to funerals to protest the military’s[sic] defense of a country that tolerates homosexuality. They expressed confidence that an appellate court will overturn the verdict because the First Amendment protects their speech and religion. [2]
These lunatics not only protest the funerals of fallen U.S. soldiers but also were going to protest at the funerals of the Amish girls killed in PA. last year.[3]
The Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan., planned to boycott funerals for the victims Thursday and Friday but later canceled the protests in exchange for media airtime. The church claims on its Web site that the shooting spree was carried out by a “mad man” in retribution for Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell’s “blasphemous sins against WBC.”[4]
When my brothers friend, Army Sgt. Joel Murray was killed in Iraq by an IED along with several other soldiers on September 4th,[5] Westboro Baptist protesters were at his funeral in Salina, KS with “Thank God for IEDs”signs wearing their usual “God Hates America” shirts.[6]
Albert Snyder filed this lawsuit a few months after his 20 year old son was killed in Iraq in March of 2006. As expected the article states the case may be tied up in appeals for some time before a final resolution. Snyder has set up a website and a legal fund. He says that he has received thousands of phone calls, letters and emails. Continue reading ‘Marine’s Dad Vows to Shut Down Westboro Baptist’
On my way home tonight I was drawn into an incident that has me so angry that I could not even write about it until I calmed down a bit.
In a residential neighborhood I stopped at an intersection and witnessed several children who appeared to be fighting a few yards from my vehicle. At first it did not seem real serious, however, one of the children said something that caused me to pay more attention. He said “You’re a terrorist just like your dad, I’m going to kill you just like the Iraq is gonna kill him.” It was then that I realized what was going on. A young boy, probably 10 or 11 was dressed as a US soldier, he was pinned on the ground while a group of four or five other boys where hitting and kicking him while at least two older people in costumes watched.
I left my truck in the street and got out just as one boy picked up a softball sized rock and headed towards he boy pinned on the ground. He was yelling “MURDERER” over and over. I yelled at the boy with the rock who dropped it and ran as he saw me. The others did not stop attacking the boy on the ground until I pulled them off of him. It was at this point the two older people started screaming at me. “What are you doing to my boys, leave them alone!” They were the mothers of two of the attackers. I told them I was calling the police and they all ran off. Continue reading ‘Child Attacked Over Soldier Costume’
This section is all about the Private Military Contractors, particularly those operating in Iraq. Recently there has been a whole lot of attention on just a few incidents. The media coverage and mass overreaction to these incidents makes them seem like we have 100,000 deranged maniacs running around shooting Iraqi civilians for fun & profit. Of course that is ridiculous. Here you will find some information about the PMC’s and the job they do.
Seems like someone is always trying to convince me that the United States is the cause of every single war or conflict throughout history. More specifically, that President Bush is the man personally responsible for everything even remotely related to war. Of course even attempting to refute any such claim results in a slew of insults and claims of Jingoism.
I’m no historian, however, it seems obvious (to me at least) that war predates the existence of the President Bush and even the United States. The first instance of war I know of is the Border War between Umma and Lagash in 2500 BC which was a few thousand years before American Revolutionary War from 1775-1783. This does not stop people from making such unqualified statements as “America is the most violent country in history” or “No nation has ever invaded as many countries or killed as many people as the U.S.” and no one can ever provide any evidence of this.
Every American has the right and (in my opinion) responsibility to stand up for what they believe in. It is possible and even very effective to disagree with American foreign policy without lies and misrepresentation.
After several weeks and dozens of hours of research I have found that this is going to consume much more time than I anticipated. Therefore, this is and will remain for sometime, a work in progress. I’ve decided to go ahead and publish it while I’m working on it as the majority of what I have left is either aesthetic or just filling in the blanks. I’ve been as impartial and thorough as possible, if you find any errors or omissions of fact, leave a comment (with sources or references if possible) and I will research & correct it. Casualty counts are often disputed, approximated and/or unknown. The most reliable statistics are listed where available. Ongoing conflicts will most likely end up in higher casualty counts, those posted are current as of October 2007.

The movie “Loose Change” & “Loose Change 2nd Edition” have been added to a growing list of movies stating that terrorist attacks of 9/11 were an inside job. These Conspiracy Theories and many others go far beyond healthy skepticism or dissent into lies & manipulation of facts and quotes. I have found a few sites that produce an abundance of evidence proving the lies in Loose Change and I encourage anyone on either side of the issue to explore them and do their own research as well. The polls seem to agree with me when I say the 9/11 conspiracy nuts are crazy and can’t handle the truth.
If you know of any sites I have missed please let me know.
Oh how quickly Americans, particularly liberals forget. I remember Al Gore giving a speech criticizing Bush Sr. for not going to war with Iraq - now I have found the video of that speech here.
Here’s Gore in 1992, telling America that George H. W. Bush needed to rush to war in taking out Iraq’s terrorism-linked, wmd-seeking Saddam Hussein. I’m pretty sure this substantially proves that liberals will blindly follow whatever supports their preconceived ideas, i.e “I support Gore because the media says he’s smarter,” when all along they support Gore regardless. The knee-jerk reaction is to always see what supports our ideas and to downplay that which contradicts them. You can’t reason with a bigot; no matter what the issue is, you’re darned if you do and you’re darned if you don’t.

My response to that is this collection of quotes from a few people.
Since the original post I have found this video that does a pretty good job of getting the point across.
Years before George W. Bush became our president, most prominent Democrats wanted Saddam Hussein’s head on a platter.
Now those same Democrats say that George W. lied to us and Hussein never had any WMDs, and the only reason president Bush went into Iraq was for the oil.
The next time one of these “Demon-crats”, masquerading as a politician, start spewing their Verbal Weapons of Mass Destruction; send them a copy of this web page.
“One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line.” President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998
“If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction program.” President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998
“Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biologicalweapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face.” Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

“Hussein has … chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies.” Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999
“There is no doubt that… Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies.”
Letter to President Bush, Signed by Joe Lieberman (D-CT), John McCain (Rino-AZ) and others, Dec. 5, 2001
“We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandated of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them.”
Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002
“Iraq’s search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power.” Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002
“I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force– if necessary– to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security.”
Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002
“We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction.” Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002
“[W]ithout question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime … He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation … And now he is miscalculating America’s response to his contin ued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction … So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real …” Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003
